It was all hands on deck for the Intercruises Asia team last weekend, during a sizeable double call in Singapore. The team handled the turnaround and shorex operations for both Ovation of the Seas and Genting Dreams – a day which saw the embarkation and debarkation of around 17,500 passengers!

Due to the unusually-high number of guests (and a delay with one of the ship’s ETAs), more staffing was required with very little notice. Several members from the Singapore office offered their support, including the entire Finance team, Compliance team, and various other colleagues from the Pacific World and Destination Management teams. Despite many of them being in very unfamiliar territory, it wasn’t long before the newcomers were confidently checking-in and ushering up the thousands in the terminal, and having “a day at the office” like never before!
