We regret to inform you that Andrea Drennan, our Port Supervisor based in Maine, USA, has passed away following a brain aneurysm.

Andrea joined Intercruises as a tour guide in 2017, and quickly established herself as a strong and popular member within the team. She will be remembered as always being eager to take on new challenges and for being deeply passionate about developing new tours in the port.

Managing Director, Olga Piqueras commented: “Andrea was a great and well-respected member of the team, and my sincere condolences go out to all those affected by her passing. Her contagious enthusiasm is something that I am sure all of us will remember forever.”

Andrea died peacefully on Wednesday, August 22, surrounded by her family and close friends. She leaves behind her husband, Matthew, son and parents.

Her husband has said that a memorial service will be held in both Bar Harbor and New York in the fall, although details are yet to be announced.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time.
