Here’s a quick round up of the many exciting things that have been happening around the region…
Intercruises makes the papers!
Port Agency’s Jordi Guillem Cata and Martín Peroni appeared in the “Diario del puerto” publication when Intercruises handled port agency operations for Mein Schiff 6’s first call in Barcelona:
Big boats in Barcelona
Intercruises recently handled two first calls for Carnival Horizon (in Carnival’s brand new port terminal “HELIX” in Barcelona) and Symphony of the Seas (now the largest cruise ship in the world). You can read more here:
Port Agency sets up shop in Gran Canaria
We are very please to announce that we are now offering Port Agency Services in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, from our very own in-house Intercruises’ office. By having in-house offices both in Tenerife and Las Palmas, we’ll be able to control the port services we offer to all the Canary Islands, with a higher attention to detail. Alejandro Sanchez (previously responsible for Tenerife) has been promoted to Manager Port Agency Canary Islands, and will be responsible for the operations not only in Tenerife and Las Palmas, but also the remaining Canary Islands in which we operate with subagents.
Earlier in the year, the Intercruises France team got together for a workshop, check out the photos below!
“Shaken not stirred”
Members of the Barcelona team recently participated in a cocktail-making competition out on the office terrace! Six teams had to follow existing recipes for classic mixtures, while taking smelling tests and creating their very own exotic concoctions! Competition was fierce, but the evening was a lot of fun!
Plaque Exchanges in Italy
A couple of photos from some recent plaque exchanges in Civitavecchia and Messina.
Sant Jordi’s Day in Barcelona
On April 23rd, male members of Intercruises’ Barcelona team presented their female colleagues with a single rose – a Catalan tradition that has been around since the 15th Century! The roses were bought in support of Fundación Soñar Despierto – a charity that aims to “improve tomorrow’s society by supporting the children and young people of today.”
