On Saturday May 5th, Carnival Corporation & PLC inaugurated its brand new terminal complex Helix Cruise Centre in Barcelona.

Situated alongside Carnival’s first terminal in the city, Palacruceros (Terminal D), Helix Cruise Centre was designed by Catalan architects Batlle i Roig, and offers a contempoary, comfortable and spacious environment, purpose-built to enhance the passenger embarkation and disembarkation process.

Various industry professionals attended the opening ceremony, including local government, business and community representatives. Carnival’s CEO Arnold Donald was also present, as were Intercruises’ Olga Piqueras, Virginia Quintairos, Isaac Vidales and Ramon Hurtado.

To wish the Carnival team the very best with this new venture, Intercruises presented them with a large bouquet of flowers along with a commemorative plaque. The day was a great success, and the attending team were very happy to be a part of it.
