Intercruises has extended its contract with its current training platform Mindflash, for a further three years.

Launched in 2016, the eLearning system has, and will continue to offer advanced online training to all regions swiftly and effortlessly, while the robust analytical back-end system tracks progress, success rate and duration of each individual enrolled. Since its implementation, the system has provided over 65 courses (focused on Marketing, Health & Safety, Product and Operations for all regions), and has accumulated over 5,300 registered trainees.

TRAINING

Having had a great experience with the interface as well as the high-quality service and support provided by Mindflash, Intercruises has agreed to a three-year extension, gaining us continued access to the platform, including its latest updates and features, until May 2021.

What does this mean for Intercruises?

This contract extension means that we are able to continue delivering highly-effective training to all Intercruises staff (full-time, part-time and seasonal), regardless of their location.

“Moving forward, we will see more of a focus on the different uses of this tool, which will be managed by Chus Martinez, who was recently appointed the role of Global Training & Development Manager. Chus will assume my responsibilities on the management and administration work of the eLearning platform, working with the destinations to leverage its latest functions, launch new trainings and tap into new ways of getting the most out of the system. This could include cruise-line specific training for our staff (something that the USA and Singapore Operations teams have already started doing), as well as training for our onboard Shorex teams (something that the Australia teams have already implemented with the Broome training course). The platform can then ultimately provide detailed reports and statistics on regional and local training performance to both senior management and clients. The system has already proved that it can save many hours of manpower and further expenses to fly trainers to destinations.
