Myself and my husband have been travelling around the UK from Australia for the last three months with the highlight being a cruise on Celebrity Eclipse departing Southampton on 26th August.  On arriving at the dock we realised that our passports were not in my bag. I was sure I had packed them so assumed they had been lost. Your staff at the dock were amazing, obviously realizing that we could not board the ship and showed great compassion.  One of your employees, Tracey Williams, gave us her personal mobile number along with other contacts so we could claim compensation. On arriving back at our relatives’ flat, we realised we had left our passports there. We contacted Tracey on her mobile and she said we could meet up with the ship at the next port. We promptly booked our flights for the next day only for our flight to be delayed and then redirected to Oslo airport instead of Bergen. All the time Tracey was keeping contact by text with updates.  When we finally arrived in Bergen, we got to the ship with minutes to spare and Tracey was at the entrance and had informed the ships’ staff of our arrival – all the paperwork was in place and there was even a nice welcoming party.  I thought this was amazing for a staff member but then found out that Tracey was on holiday on the cruise with her family and had done this in her own time. We would not have made the cruise without her assistance and can not thank her and her lovely family enough. What an amazing employee you have and we will not forget her kindness. We had a fantastic cruise and hopefully if we are ever in Southampton again we will contact Tracey and buy her dinner. Please can you also let the Celebrity Cruises our appreciation and please say a big hello to Tracey from us.”
