It’s certainly been an exciting and eventful month for our team in Asia – here’s what you might have missed!

CCYIA: Executive Council Membership Approval

We’re thrilled to announce Intercruises’ recent approval for Executive Council Membership from the China Cruise & Yacht Industry Association (CCYIA)presented at the 5th China Cruise Annual Awards earlier this month.

As one of the oldest cruise organizations directed by the Chinese Government, the CCYIA will help Intercruises to continue firming its brand in the country, placing us centre stage alongside other major industry players in the region. Present to accept the award were Isaac Vidales (Regional Director Asia ) and Vera Wang (Product Development Manager).

Not only will this membership provide Intercruises with a great insight and exposure to the Chinese cruise business, it will also keep us in the loop when it comes to all major events, conferences and Governmental decisions concerning industry matters.

As Asia’s leading economy, with a fast growing cruise industry, the Chinese market has huge potential for future Intercruises operations, and the country’s team are absolutely thrilled with this significant and very exciting new milestone!

“This approval is absolutely a step in the right direction as far as our operations in China go. Having a firm position in China, alongside some of the biggest names in the industry – in such a thriving economy – is exactly where Intercruises should be in this region at this point in time.” – Isaac Vidales

Seatrade Asia Pacific Congress

Intercruises’ Olga Piqueras, Isaac Vidales, Vera Wang and Vivian Gong attended the iconic Seatrade Asia Pacific Congress in Shanghai earlier this month – a great event that brought together the who’s who in the region, and provided an engaging environment for an interesting few days of networking and discussion.

Annual “Celebrates” Office Party in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong office recently hosted the second edition of their annual “Celebrates” party, in which partners and clients were invited to join them in celebrating the year’s collaborative success. It was also a great opportunity for the team to personally thank the people that really make an impact on our business, as well as show appreciation for their ongoing support, loyalty and alliance throughout the year.

Congratulations to the Asian team for another successful month!
