Social Media Update

We understand that social media accounts are personal, an everyday part of life and present opportunities to promote our brand, but they also carry risks and we all need to be very careful what we share as part of Intercruises. Please see below examples of inappropriate use of social media of which we were recently made aware:

  • Port & Terminal Images: The terminal and port are secure areas, especially inside the terminal. Images from inside the terminal or showing the key access areas to the dock should not be shared on social media. Taking and sharing images of the terminal security areas is expressly prohibited and a security risk.
  • Guest & Crew Images: Nobody – guests, crew, colleagues – should have their photo shared on social media without having given express permission.
  • Animal Images: Intercruises has very clear policies with regards to wildlife and the environment. Please ensure that any animal images you share are in line with this policy – for example, please avoid images of wild animals being touched by people.
