MYBA is the Worldwide Yachting Association, which during April organized the MYBA Charter Show in Barcelona for the first time, following 28 years of the event being hosted in Genova, Italy. The Intercruises Yacht Services Team, led by Susana Fornieles, Yachts Manager, had a stand at the event, with the objective of growing awareness of Intercruises in the Yachting industry, including a mention in one of Spain’s leading newspapers: “There are also businesses that offer port agency services to yachts, such as the Yachts Division of Intercruises, led by Susana Fornieles.” – read full article in Spanish: La Vanguardia,
“This is one of the most important yachts events of the year bringing together agents, brokers and suppliers from across the world, as well as some of the most famous vessels in the industry. There were actually a few yachts there that we already work with in various destinations, including a 95m yacht that was actually the largest at the event. We were delighted to have this event in Barcelona, which is one of the leading yacht destinations in the Mediterranean and we look forward to the event next year!” Said Susana.
The team with Susana was Marijana Rabrenovic, Murry Sanchéz, Tania Gaitán, Eva Aragón and colleagues from Pacific World, which was providing registration services for the event, as well as Virginia Quintairos, Director Mediterranean and Serafin Blazquez, Global Port Agency Manager, “Yacht Services has huge potential; our business and the industry is growing every year. We are also seeing many changes, with much more regulation now coming into force and this is an opportunity for Intercruises to grow through our strong corporate governance.”
Following the end of MYBA the Intercruises Yacht Services team then went to Palma de Mallorca for the Superyacht Show.
