Wave Awards: Organized by the owners of World of Cruising, Cruise Trade News and Cruise Ports & Destinations magazines, and based on rigorous assessment by an independent panel of cruise travel experts and separate public voting, The Wave Awards will set benchmarks for achieving excellence in the UK cruise industry.
Simon O’Sullivan, Director Northern Europe and Charlotte Salmon, Product Manager UK & Ireland, attended the awards ceremony, where Intercruises won Best UK Attraction or Excursion for its Tower London VIP Breakfast (description below), which was designed for The World’s visit to London in 2016. Intercruises was up against strong competition, including The Royal Yacht Britannia and Agatha Christie’s Greenway, so it was a real achievement to win the award!
Cruise Critic U.K.’s 2017 Cruisers’ Choice Awards: The UK turnaround team contributed to another important UK Cruise Industry award, as Royal Caribbean was awarded best Embarkation (Large Ship) at the Cruise Critic UK Cruisers’ Choice Awards held earlier this week. Royal Caribbean commented: “This is wonderful news as the planning and execution that went into Harmony was a monumental effort. We could not have done this without Team Southampton.”
Cruise Critic is the leading cruise reviews and information site which hosts the largest cruise community in the world. More than five million people, from first-time cruisers to avid cruise fans, visit Cruise Critic each month to research and plan their cruises, connect with other cruisers and share their passion for cruising. These awards are based on reviews submitted to Cruise Critic over the past year and directly reflect the experiences people had on their cruise.
Congratulations to Intercruises UK & Ireland!
