Intercruises were honoured to unveil the Genting Dream, Dream Cruises’ first ever ship, to a group of high level travel executives & agents from the Australasia region, including Chip Tsao, the famous Hong Kong columnist.
Led by Bo Madsen, Regional Manager Nordic Countries & Baltic Sea, the five star, Asia themed début ceremony was designed to reflect the Dream’s luxurious style, and featured Intercruises teams greeting guests pierside in formal attire with umbrellas to offer shade from the sun (another reflection of the ship’s Asian heritage). Furthermore, Intercruises were responsible for the arrival transport from the airport, the welcome cocktail reception and the transport to and from Pappenburg to see the new ship.
Dinner was provided at the exclusive Park Hyatt hotel and an excursion was organised to Gentings Wharf in Wismar. Following the event in Hamburg, the invited guests were flown to Vienna for a 4-day river cruise aboard the Crystal Mozart.
Scheduled to make her maiden voyage from Guangzhou Nansha (China) in November 2016, the Genting Dream will carry over 3,000 guests on the world’s first cruise ship build specifically for the Asian market. Dream Cruises is the first-ever Asian luxury cruise line that aims to redefine vacation travel with inspirational luxury and a transformational journey at sea.
