The Intercruises Global Platform held their first ever workshop in Barcelona this month. Team members from Intercruises’ Client Relationship, Products & Services, Business Development and Business Processes & IT functions gathered together for three days to discuss how the Global Platform can best support regional teams under the new Destination Management Governance Structure (read more on the Beat here).
Each team member delivered a presentation on their objectives for the year, the benefits of these projects and how to improve collaboration with Sector functions and regional teams. Jordi Cerdó, Destination Management Managing Director, took time to conference call the workshop and answer any questions about the future of Destination Management.
Workshop activities included:
- Creativity Brainstorming: Teams were encouraged to use a variety of creative exercises to find solutions to real world issues faced by the Global Platform
- Insights: Each member of the Global Platform underwent an Insights analysis to identify their professional personality type
- Team Building Activities: To maintain morale, an escape room adventure and bowling was organised for the team.
Unfortunately, Elena Garcia, Account Executive Emerging Markets, could not attend as she is currently working in India.
