Charlotte Salmon,Shore Excursion Product Supervisor UK & Ireland, was in good company when she met with the Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister), Enda Kenny, last week. Minister Kenny was delighted to converse with Charlotte about Irish cruise tourism, as he previously served as a Minister for Trade and Tourism in the 1990’s.
FAM Trip – Strokestown Park, Whiskey Tasting & More
Hosted by the Irish tourism bodies: Tourism Ireland and Failte Ireland, the team had the opportunity to visit Strokestown Park, a former Cromwellian era manor belonging to the Pakenham-Mahons and home to Ireland’s National Famine Museum.
Other highlights from the trip include Irish Whiskey tasting (see below the many faces of Charlotte Salmon and Harriet Ayim), a hiking excursion along Ireland’s Atlantic cliffs and a visit to the resting place of acclaimed Irish writer and Nobel Prize winner, W.B. Yeats.
